About Coach Kay

Hey, I’m Kaila  or Coach Kay your favorite hype woman! I am the light, the energy, and the heart behind Kalume Fitness. A little about me, my fitness journey started back in college when I was depressed and didn’t like how I looked or felt. I walked into the gym just trying to feel something different, and I did. The more I showed up, the better I felt. I fell in love with the gym, but at the same time, I still struggled with confidence and truly seeing myself. Later, I actually got a trainer and while it was cool something in me clicked. I realized I could see myself doing this not just for myself but for others. So while still on my journey in 2021 I started training others and doing fitness classes. I loved it! I took a break because life was life-ing, and now I’m back! 

I have rebranded, refreshed, and I am fully stepping into my purpose. I know I’m called to be a light and help others, so why not pour into people using something I truly love? What keeps me going is the journey, the progress, the mindset shifts, and that feeling you get when you push through a tough workout. I know the struggle. I know it’s hard. But nothing in life is easy, and that’s why fitness aligns so perfectly with real life: discipline + consistency = growth.

Kalume Fitness is my space to help women level up physically and mentally. We don’t just chase a look; we chase confidence, strength, and the best version of ourselves, inside and out.
